JOB SUMMARY

As a neurosurgery consultant at a top-tier hospital in Saudi Arabia, your role would involve providing specialized neurosurgical care to patients with a wide range of neurological conditions. You would be responsible for evaluating and diagnosing patients, developing tailored treatment plans, and performing complex surgical procedures with the support of a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. Your expertise in neurosurgery would contribute to the hospital\'s commitment to delivering high-quality, cutting-edge care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality neurosurgical care to patients in this area of medicine.
  • Provide consultative service as requested.
  • Supervise fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents.
  • Actively participate in the training and teaching of residents and fellows in the area of expertise and participate in research activities.
  • Participate in committees and other administrative functions as needed.
  • Perform special procedures as privileged.
  • Follow all hospital-related policies and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education

  • Graduate from a medical school in good standing.
  • Completion of the required period of training in neurosurgery and/or subspecialty.
  • Saudi Arabia or American/European Board Certification or equivalent.
  • Membership and/or Fellowship status in the USA and/or Europe or their equivalent and fulfilling the criteria for the consultant as required.
  • A certificate recognized by the Saudi Commission is a must.
  • DataFlow is a must.

Professional Experience

  • Minimum 3-4 years post-board/fellowship in neurosurgery.
  • Registered member of the Saudi Board Council.

Language

  • Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.
