• Customise and configure MES software solutions for production environments.

• Support integration with databases and production systems.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide user training and documentation.

Qualifications that inspire us

• Completed IHK Ausbildung or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related fields.
• Solid knowledge of databases and strong programming skills (demonstrated through university, private projects, or student jobs).
• 3-5 years of programming experience, preferably including PL/SQL, Oracle, Java, and Python.
• Experience with MES software and practical understanding of production environments.
• Comfortable communicating in English (B2) and German (B2).
• Experience in consulting or customer‑facing roles is a plus.
• Industry knowledge in process industries.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50%.
• Based in NRW or open to relocation.
• Available for at least 32 hours / week, full‑time preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical topics clearly.
• French language skills, to support clients or teams in Francophone regions.
• A valid driver’s license, helpful for onsite visits in various locations.
• Industry knowledge in steel or aluminum production, enabling you to engage with clients in these sectors with greater insight.
