We are Liqomics, a pioneering startup in the field of genetic diagnostics based in Cologne, Germany. Our mission is to improve the lives of people with cancer by developing and providing tools to better understand and manage cancer through liquid biopsy technology. We achieve this by using circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) to identify a patient's individual genetic cancer signature through a blood sample and tracking it throughout the course of their disease.

Tasks

You will be the driving force behind Liqomics\' commercial expansion in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), establishing our liquid biopsy technology as the gold standard for minimal residual disease (MRD) detection and cancer monitoring. Your mission will be to build strong relationships with key stakeholders in the hematology and oncology ecosystem and drive adoption of our cutting-edge diagnostic solutions.

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with oncology centers, practices, university hospitals, and specialized laboratories across the DACH region
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects including hematologists and oncologists
  • Present and demonstrate our liquid biopsy technology and MRD testing solutions to healthcare professionals
  • Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets

Relationship Management

  • Develop strategic partnerships with cancer centers and research institutions
  • Maintain regular contact with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and identify expansion opportunities
  • Organize scientific meetings and educational events

Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Monitor competitive landscape and market trends in liquid biopsy and genetic diagnostics
  • Provide feedback to product development based on customer needs and market requirements
  • Support the development of go-to-market strategies for new products and services
  • Support our digital marketing efforts
Requirements

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor\'s degree in life sciences, business, or related field; advanced degree preferred but not a must
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken); additional languages (French, Italian, Spanish) are a plus
  • Willingness to travel throughout the DACH region
  • Valid driver\'s license
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently in a startup environment
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Resilient and persistent in pursuing opportunities

Nice to Haves

  • Proven success in pharmaceutical, medical device or diagnostic sales, preferably in hematology, oncology or genetic testing
  • Experience with CRM systems, sales analytics tools and digital marketing
  • Existing knowledge of molecular diagnostics, NGS technology, or liquid biopsy concepts
  • Familiarity with oncology treatment pathways and clinical decision-making
  • Existing network within the oncology/hematology community in DACH
  • Track record of launching new diagnostic products
