You will be the technical representative of Quantistry in customer acquisition, working directly with R&D leaders, innovation teams, and commercial executives to scope solutions, run demos, and craft proposals that address high-stakes industrial materials challenges.

This customer-facing role requires a blend of scientific expertise and communication skills to make complex technologies accessible and compelling. • Translate complex requirements into clear project scopes and proposals, working with scientific and delivery teams to develop effective solutions.
  • Support sales processes from initial contact to signed contracts and seamless handover to delivery teams.
  • Build long-term relationships with customers by solving problems and communicating effectively and credibly.
  • Gather insights from engagements to improve presales strategies, demo workflows, and proposal materials.

Your Talents

  • Advanced degree (MSc or PhD preferred) in Computational Chemistry (preferably solid-state), Computational Material Sciences, or a related field.
  • Strong technical background in computational methods, simulations, or advanced materials development.
  • 3-5 years of experience in customer-facing technical roles such as presales engineering, technical consulting, or solution architecture.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, consultative approach to customer engagement.
  • Comfortable working in a startup environment, being adaptable, resourceful, and energized by fast-paced, ambitious goals.
  • Business fluency in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
  • Based in Berlin (preferred) or remote within Europe, with willingness to travel occasionally (~10%).

  • Access to quality coffee nearby for €1.
  • Free fruit and a variety of drinks (including soda, juices, Mate).
  • Work equipment of your choice.
  • Competitive salary based on experience.
