The innovative portfolio includes industrial pumps, filtration equipment, water treatment machinery, drilling equipment and automated processing systems and related services that meet the highest performance and environmental standards.

The Opportunity

Our client is seeking an exceptional Managing Director EMEA to lead the company’s rapidly expanding EMEA operations from its headquarters in Southwest Germany. This senior executive role offers the opportunity to shape the strategic direction of our EMEA business while driving significant growth across diverse markets.

Based in South Germany with regular travel across EMEA markets (25-30%), the Managing Director will have full P&L responsibility for the region and will lead a dynamic team of sales, marketing, operations, and customer service professionals across multiple countries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive growth strategies for the EMEA region, driving market expansion and customer acquisition
  • Own complete regional financial performance, including revenue growth, margin optimization, and working capital management
  • Lead and inspire a multinational team across sales, marketing, operations, and customer service functions
  • Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities while strengthening the company’s position in existing markets
  • Build strong relationships with key customers, partners, and internal stakeholders including global headquarters
  • Implement best practices and lean methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Drive digitization initiatives to modernize manufacturing processes, supply chain operations, and customer experience
Key Qualifications
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in B2B industrial technology or equipment sectors
  • Proven track record of managing P&L responsibility for large-scale, multi-country operations (€50M+ revenue)
  • Demonstrated success in leading and developing senior management teams across diverse geographic markets
  • Strong background in industrial machinery manufacturing, process equipment, or related technical industries as well as in-depth knowledge of industrial and municipal water systems is required
  • Exceptional strategic thinking with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans
  • Experienced "manager of managers" with a track record of building high-performing teams
  • Strong change management skills with experience leading digital transformation initiatives
  • Cultural intelligence and ability to operate effectively across diverse European markets
  • Advanced analytical and operational mindset with strong financial acumen
  • Fluent in English and German; additional European languages are a strong advantage
  • Comfortable with extensive travel (25-30%) across EMEA region
