Position Title : Key Account Manager B2B Textile Sales

Location : Flexible within East, North, or West Germany (sporadic visits to Krefeld during onboarding)

About the Role

We are currently seeking a Key Account Manager with a strong technical and commercial mindset to support B2B clients in Germany. This role requires a consultative approach, advising customers on textile materials suitable for digital printing applications, and managing client relationships across an assigned region.

While onboarding will take place in Krefeld, this is a field-based role with significant autonomy and flexibility. Occasional office days and around 50% travel are expected, particularly in the initial months.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to B2B clients, understanding their machines and print technologies
  • Recommend suitable textile products based on technical requirements
  • Lead customer meetings, product presentations, and price negotiations
  • Manage and develop existing accounts; re-engage former customers
  • Monitor market trends and maintain close contact with clients
  • Coordinate with internal teams such as Sales Support and Supply Chain

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales (ideally in a technical / consultative context)
  • Documented technical understanding and affinity for machinery or materials
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • High self-discipline, reliability, and independence in remote work
  • German (C1) fluency is mandatory for this role
  • English (C1) for international communication

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in consumables sales (e.g., paper, textiles, printing supplies)
  • Background in the printing industry or related sectors
