Junior LabVIEW Software Engineer (m/f/d)

We are looking for an exceptionally motivated LabVIEW Software Engineer (f/m/d) to join our special-projects rocketry team. As part of a small, passionate and accomplished team of experts, you will be owning all aspects of the software lifecycle for our ground systems and flight vehicle: from initial design, development and testing to deployment and support of test and launch campaigns. Are you comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and contributing to innovative solutions, while demonstrating personal leadership, technical competence and exceptional attention to detail? Responsibilities
  • Develop robust, efficient and scalable LabVIEW real-time embedded systems, user interfaces and testing equipment
  • Interface with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers
  • Write tools to automate software analysis, testing and validation using CI/CD and on our Hardware in The Loop (HIL) test bed
  • Directly take part in test site commissioning, engine tests and launch operations
Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in software/electronic engineering or related discipline. A higher degree is considered advantageous
  • Knowledge of LabVIEW and the NI ecosystem
  • Familiarity with the Python programming language
  • Willingness to get hands dirty and work closely with hardware
  • Strong lateral thinking skills, high social intelligence, and the ability to solve problems independently and as part of a team
  • Fluent oral and written English skills (all day-to-day activities are performed in English)

Additional Skills:

  • Familiarity with Linux and/or Real Time Operating Systems
  • Knowledge of C/C++ programming languages, especially in the context of embedded devices
  • Familiarity with electrical schematics, P&IDs and wiring diagrams
  • Experience in control cabinet wiring
