Your future duties and responsibilities :

As an IT Security Consultant PKI, you are our specialist for secure communication, signatures, and certificate management in our cyber and information security team, bringing your experience from international corporations and large medium-sized companies.

The exciting and diverse tasks include:

• Analysis and evaluation of existing PKI implementations and related processes
• Consulting on the selection, introduction, and operation of PKI and HSM solutions
• Developing guidelines for PKI, trust management, and IAM
• Creating certificate policies and certification practice statements
• Developing concepts for prevention and defense against threats and attacks
• Supporting our clients on-site in design, implementation, operation, and troubleshooting
• Creating forecasts of potential damage progression and supporting crisis management in decision-making
• Forensic analysis, cause determination, and evidence preservation of PKI-related security incidents
• Conducting coaching and training sessions
• Participation in our Security Operation Center, cybersecurity audits, and penetration tests is also possible.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role :

You have ideally demonstrated your structured and analytical approach through:

• A completed degree in IT security, computer science, mathematics, physics, or comparable knowledge
• Relevant certifications in Windows & Linux enterprise PKI, IAM, or similar
• Significant professional and project experience in this environment
• Excellent application and operating system knowledge in Windows, Linux, and networking environments
• Very good knowledge of encryption protocols, network protocols, standards in PKI, smartcards, and related services

You round this off with :

• Basic knowledge in cloud security
• Basic knowledge in mobile security
• Knowledge of standardized recommendations such as IT baseline protection, ISO 2700x, ISO 25999
• Understanding of various attack scenarios, threats, and hacker groups
• Good orthographic and grammatical expression
• Reliable English skills in speaking and writing
