Information Security Officer (m / f / d)
The German Social Accident Insurance Institution for the raw materials and chemical industry (BG RCI) is part of the German social insurance system. We are a statutory accident insurance institution and are responsible for around 36,000 member companies nationwide, employing around 1.6 million people. We advise and support our member companies in all matters relating to occupational health and safety. In the event of an accident at work or an occupational illness, we help the insured persons with comprehensive medical treatment and rehabilitation and thus contribute to the best possible reintegration into working life and life in the community.
For the KC IT Management of the Information Technology (IT) department, we are looking for the following at the Heidelberg or Bochum site at the earliest possible date
The area of responsibility includes :
- Providing expert advice to the main management and employees of all organizational units on information security issues and monitoring information security in projects
- To develop and, if necessary, review security strategies in accordance with the BG RCI strategy
- To manage information security
- To set up, control, operate and continuously develop an information security management system (ISMS) in accordance with BSI IT-Grundschutz and to manage the IT security process of BG RCI, including the management of the interface to the IT cooperation partners and IT service providers
- To coordinate, coordinate and monitor the creation and maintenance of information security concepts and guidelines in accordance with BSI IT-Grundschutz
- To manage the IT security coordinator from a technical perspective
- Cooperate with the data protection officer, the BG RCI emergency manager and the BG RCI internal audit department
- To represent the interests of BG RCI in the IT cooperations
We require these qualifications :
- A successfully completed academic university degree (Master's or university diploma) in computer science or business informatics or a comparable qualification (qualification for the career of the higher non-technical administrative service)
- At least three years of practical professional experience relevant to the job, preferably in a coordinating role in public administration
- Experience in the implementation and management of an information security management system
- Sound knowledge of the BSI IT baseline protection catalogs and all BSI standards, preferably with a relevant certification (e.g. BSI IT baseline protection practitioner or ISO / IEC 27001 Foundation)
- Extensive knowledge of an IT-Grundschutz tool for creating, managing and updating information security concepts
- Independent, planned, goal-oriented and solution-oriented task completion
- Strong communication skills and a friendly and respectful approach to those involved
- Practical knowledge of the enterprise IT operating environment
- A distinctly innovative and conceptual way of working and the ability to design processes
- A strong ability to recognize and solve problems independently
- The ability to prepare complex issues for management
- The willingness to expand knowledge and skills
- The willingness to go on business trips - occasionally lasting several days
