The Service and Security Manager position is crucial for ensuring the security and smooth operation of our services. Tasks

• Oversee and manage the implementation and maintenance of robust security protocols to protect our IT assets and infrastructure.
• Identify and address existing security gaps and operational inefficiencies, enhancing the integrity and reliability of services.
• Develop and implement training programs for employees to ensure compliance with security standards and protocols.
• Monitor service operations to ensure efficient and effective delivery, identifying opportunities for process optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess security and service needs, coordinating initiatives that enhance overall security posture.
• Lead incident response efforts, ensuring timely resolution, and manage post‑incident analysis and reporting.
• Drive the continuous improvement of service processes and protocols, keeping them aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of emerging security threats and best practices to effectively protect the organization’s assets and information.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in service or security management, ideally within the technology sector.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks, compliance requirements, and risk management.
• Proven track record of managing complex security situations and improving operational efficiencies.
• Experience in developing and executing employee training programs related to security and service management.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with a proactive approach to managing potential issues.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate and lead cross‑functional teams.
• Proficient in using various monitoring and security tools and platforms.
• Strong communication skills in English and German, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and drive initiatives in a fast‑paced environment.
• Nice to have: Relevant IT security certifications for cloud computing, such as Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) with a focus on cloud security, Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, and Google Cloud Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
