HR Generalist (part-time) - DE - Braunschweig

Working hours : 20 hrs / week

Summary

The HR Generalist provides day-to-day support to the Metronix business. He / she manages the administration of the human resources policies, procedures and programs. He / she carries out tasks in the following functional areas: recruiting, training and development, compensation and benefits, employee relation and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). He / she assures that labor regulation and all respective corporate policies are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities
HR Generalist
  • HR support for our location in Braunschweig within the entire scope of human resources management
  • Independent payroll accounting with ADP as well as preparatory activities
  • Contact person for payroll tax and social security issues of employees
  • Support of employees in payroll-related topics
  • Preparation of statistics, certificates and evaluations
  • Processing of employees entering and leaving the company
  • Creation of accruals, reporting on vacation and overtime for personnel controlling purposes
  • Responsible for new hires with corresponding contract preparation and onboarding
  • Maintaining personnel files, payroll accounting and contribution statements and notifications
  • Contact person for social security agencies, health insurance funds and insurance companies
  • Organization of further training and preparation of training schedules
  • Contact person for external audits taxes and social security
  • Preparation of KPIs for the management
General Administration
  • Financial Support : Participation in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
  • EHS Administration : Support in various EHS topics for the site
  • Data-Privacy-Coordinator : Point of Contact for external Data-privacy-officer
Critical Skills & Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience in HR-administration, payroll processing and financial / cost accounting and a solid data privacy background
  • Knowledge of social security and income tax law
  • Knowledge of works constitution law
  • Knowledge of current payroll programs desired (for example SAP, DATEV, ADP)
  • Good knowledge of the MS Office package
  • Fluent in German and English
