About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and detail‑oriented HR Administrator - Organisation and Payroll (m / f / d) to support a wide range of HR operational and administrative activities. This role will play a key part in ensuring smooth HR processes, accurate personnel data management, and a positive experience for employees throughout their journey with us.

Job Title: HR Administrator - Organisation and Payroll (m / f / d)

Location: Berlin, Germany (Hybrid / On‑site, depending on office needs)

Position Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities
Personnel Administration & HR Operations
  • Organise and maintain up‑to‑date personnel records
  • Prepare employment‑related letters, certificates, etc
  • Update and maintain internal HR databases, tools and documentation
  • Assist in the preparation and filing of various HR documents
Payroll & Benefits
  • Support monthly payroll administration in collaboration with external providers and liaise with the Finance team.
  • Administer employee benefits and leave requests
  • Prepare HR‑related reports for other business units upon request
  • Serve as a point of contact for payroll administration‑related questions and queries
Employee Support
  • Serve as a point of contact for HR‑related operational queries
  • Provide efficient and solution‑oriented support to employees
Office & Travel Administration
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for new hires as needed
  • Support office‑related administrative needs for our Berlin office
  • Assist in the planning and execution of internal events and activities
HR Processes & Projects
  • Provide administrative support for key HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, performance management and others
  • Contribute to the smooth running of HR projects and initiatives
  • Provide support for market research within the framework of internal procurement processes
Skills & Competencies
  • Solid understanding of HR processes, regulations, and best practices
  • Experience using HRIS tools
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, especially in sensitive data handling
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
  • Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive personnel information
  • Clear and professional communication style, both written and verbal
Requirements
  • Vocational Training or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience in HR administration, payroll support, or a similar operational HR role. Experience in a fast‑paced, international environment is advantageous.
  • Fluency in English and German (spoken and written) is required.
