JOIN OUR TEAM

As the Head of Pricing & Commercial Business Intelligence, you will play a central role in shaping how pricing and commercial decisions are made at Westwing - raising the bar on analytical excellence, commercial impact and customer-centricity. In this strategic leadership role, you will lead a team of experts, build scalable pricing and commercial BI frameworks, and shape the analytical backbone enhanced by AI capabilities that drive profitability, competitiveness, and operational effectiveness across all markets. You will collaborate closely with top leadership and cross-functional teams to influence key decisions with data-driven insights and strategic recommendations. This position is permanent and based in Munich (hybrid).

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Define and implement a premium-aligned, data-driven pricing strategy that ensures smart and attractive pricing for both our 3rd-party brands and the Westwing Collection across all sales channels
  • Partner with the central BI team to shape and deliver the Group BI strategy, including the move toward a scalable data mesh, while empowering all Commercial functions with data transparency and analytical excellence
  • Lead and develop a team of 9 experts across Pricing and Commercial BI, fostering analytical excellence, AI acceleration, strong commercial judgment, and a high-performance culture

Design and execute complex pricing analyses, experiments, and simulations that quantify business impact and sharpen our competitive edge

Accelerate the automation and accuracy and unlock AI potential for our pricing processes by transforming manual, error-prone workflows into scalable, reliable, and high-impact systems

Drive and support the rapid expansion into new countries, ensuring low-complexity localisation, and scalable commercial processes

YOU COME WITH
  • Extensive experience in a senior Pricing leadership role, in a global eCommerce or retail environment, paired with strong leadership skills and the ability to build, motivate, and develop high-performing analytical teams
  • A strong passion for eCommerce, pricing, data, and numbers - combined with a feel for brand, product, and customer perception
  • Outstanding analytical and technical capabilities, with advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and AI acceleration; experience with data engineering, BI tools (e.g., Tableau), and Machine Learning is a strong plus
  • Deep commercial and financial understanding, including pricing mechanisms, commercial performance steering, and data-driven business models
  • A strong grasp of customer sentiment and psychology, assortment dynamics, and merchandising principles in a (premium) brand environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and translate data into clear narratives and strategic recommendations; fluency in English
