As Head of Global Transport, you will oversee and drive strategic initiatives to enhance STADA's global transportation operations. In this key leadership role, you will develop and implement transportation strategies, ensure compliance with trade regulations, and leverage innovative technologies to optimize efficiency. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring cost-effective and reliable delivery of goods worldwide while fostering collaboration with internal teams and external partners

What You Can Expect
  • You define and implement a global transportation strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
  • You oversee all transportation modes (road, rail, sea, air) to ensure timely, reliable, and cost-effective delivery of goods worldwide.
  • You establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) for global shipping, ensuring consistency and reliability across all regions.
  • You ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and environmental laws, and develop risk mitigation strategies to handle potential disruptions.
  • You manage the transportation budget, optimizing costs while maintaining high service levels and identifying savings opportunities with service providers.
  • You drive the adoption of advanced transportation technologies and use data analytics to track performance, optimize routes, and support decision-making.
  • You build and manage a high-performing global transportation team, fostering a culture of collaboration and operational excellence.
  • You build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics partners to ensure strong collaboration and service quality
Who We Are Looking For
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • You bring more than 10 years of experience in global transportation or logistics, with a proven track record of managing international supply chains and delivering operational improvements.
  • You have strong leadership skills, with the ability to build and develop a transportation team from scratch while driving alignment across stakeholders.
  • You are proficient in transportation management systems (TMS) and other logistics technologies, leveraging data to enhance operational performance.
  • You possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, enabling you to engage effectively with carriers, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • You are fluent in German and English, ensuring clear communication in international and local contexts.
  • You have a thorough understanding of international trade policies, Incoterms, and emerging technologies that improve transportation processes
