To strengthen our leadership team, we are looking for a highly motivated and experiencedHead of Finance to take responsibility for financial operations andstrategic financial management across our entire group. Here is what awaits you for this role:
- Collaborate with our CFO to drive strategic financial decision-making and corporate development.
- You lead, inspire, and develop the teams Accounting, Group Accounting, Treasury, and Controlling
- Head financial operations across the company, from budgeting, forecasting, and cash management to analysis and accounting
- Act as the lead partner to the management team on financial strategy, while also preparing insightful reports for the advisory board
- Guide process improvements and operational efficiency projects, leveraging financial data and insights to support decision-making
- Ensure compliance and governance by overseeing the control environment, audits, and tax matters in collaboration with external advisors
- Presentation & document support: Draft, polish, and update materials, memos, or presentations for Management, Board, and Financial Institutions
- Build and maintain networks with our management team, board, banks, and advisors
Your profile
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Economics, and5-10 years of experience in Finance, Accounting and Controlling
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; you are articulate, clear, and persuasive in German and English
- Senior-level finance leadership in scale-up, multi-national organisations
- Deep understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cashflow dynamics as well as accounting standards under HGB/IFRS
- Proven track record in implementing and running ERP-systems
- tech-savvy in applying BI-Tools and AIin financial operations
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize under pressure
- A curious, thoughtful mindset and a bias toward action
- A global outlook and an international background or experience across different geographies is a plus
- Ideally, you are based in Leipzig or the area and are willing to work on-site at our brand new office in vibrant Leipzig-Plagwitz at least 3 days a week
