About the Role

In this role you are responsible for supporting software and hardware development teams by building and maintaining development systems and environments. This means you will do CI automation, tool chain setup, and Linux systems administration. As time permits you will also be called upon to help out in general software development tasks.

The ideal candidate we are looking for is someone who already has experience in administration, and is interested in moving more to a development support role.

What you will do:

• create and support build automation and CI pipelines for our software team
• setup and support development environments for chip development
• setup and support for our in-house Linux software development and simulation environments

What you should bring in:

• experience with Linux server systems
• good python and bash scripting experience
• knowledge of cmake, make, git
• some experience developing software in custom development flows (i.e. not just within a pre-set-up IDE!)
• willingness/interest to learn and support chip design environments and automation (including tcl scripting)

Helpful but not required:

• knowledge of C, C++, scala
• familiarity with Cadence, Synopsys EDA tools
