Who we are

Helsing is a defence AI company. Our mission is to protect our democracies. We aim to achieve technological leadership, so that open societies can continue to make sovereign decisions and control their ethical standards.

As democracies, we believe we have a special responsibility to be thoughtful about the development and deployment of powerful technologies like AI. We take this responsibility seriously.

We are an ambitious and committed team of engineers, AI specialists and customer‑facing programme managers. We are looking for mission‑driven people to join our European teams – and apply their skills to solve the most complex and impactful problems. We embrace an open and transparent culture that welcomes healthy debates on the use of technology in defence, its benefits, and its ethical implications.

The role

Reporting to the Head of Accounting, you will take full ownership of group consolidations across multiple international territories including the UK, US, and European entities, ensuring accurate conversion from local GAAP to IFRS. You will lead the implementation of a new consolidation tool and establish consistent, scalable reporting processes.
You will also work closely with internal senior stakeholders on strategic ad‑hoc projects, providing insight and expertise to support key business decisions and continued international growth.

The day‑to‑day
  • Drive group consolidations across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring timely and accurate reporting from local GAAP into IFRS

  • Lead the roll‑out and adoption of consolidation tool, enhancing efficiency and data integrity

  • Coordinate with external advisors on group transfer pricing, ensuring alignment across reporting and compliance requirements

  • Implement and maintain robust, scalable finance processes to support international operations

  • Partner with internal senior stakeholders on ad‑hoc initiatives, providing financial insight and recommendations

  • Identify opportunities to streamline reporting, improve controls, and support decision‑making at the group level

You should apply if you
  • Are ACA or CA qualified accountant with substantial experience in group accounting and multi‑territory consolidations

  • Have hands‑on experience implementing consolidation systems such as Lucanet and working with ERP systems such as SAP/S4 HANA (desirable experience)

  • Are comfortable working in a scale‑up, fast‑paced, international environment

  • Have strong communication and stakeholder management skills across global teams

  • Fluent in German and working proficiency in English

Note: We operate in an industry where women, as well as other minority groups, are systematically under‑represented. We encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet all the listed qualifications; ability and impact cannot be summarised in a few bullet points.
