Global Blade Quality Engineer (m/f/d)

Your tasks and duties
  • Main interface and contact person for rotor blade supplier quality and component qualification (PPAP) in large scale assemblies (LSA`s)
  • Specification of all necessary testing and monitoring requirements to ensure production and quality targets in cooperation with the rotor blade suppliers
  • Follow up as project member the PDP-Process for new product´s
  • Ensuring compliance with the required quality standards in process and product
  • Demanding the necessary organizational, personnel, technical and other measures to ensure quality indicators and to implement quality optimization.
  • Auditing (VDA 6.3) of production sites (large scale assemblies)
  • Monitoring of green tagging activities
  • Control and follow-up of NC-related measures and audit deviations, as well as tracking of NC reporting
  • Contributing to continuous quality improvement
  • Monitoring SAP feedback and required quality data
  • Communicating changed quality requirements in the event of design, material and documentation changes
  • Recording Q-data and PPAP documents in the Ariba system
  • Tracking and documentation of change orders (releases) for blade-/set-numbers and it´s implementation dates
  • Requesting and tracking 8D reports
  • Coordinate the implementation of best practice activities in the plants, including documentation of quality status and achievements
  • Requesting spot checks during processing (e.g. DSC, surface roughness, dimensions)
  • Participation in or management of process-related quality hotspots
  • Cross-functional work (LSA/CMP/CIE/WRD/GP/S&OP)
Your qualifications
  • Successfully completed an engineering degree or comparable training
  • At least 8 years of professional experience in the production of composite materials and advanced quality and coating techniques, especially for rotor blades
  • Best practice knowledge of quality processes, ideally Enercon blade-designs and manufacturing processes
  • Auditor training (VDA6.3 or similar)
  • SAP and MS Office skills
  • Advanced English language skills as well good German language skills
