As GM/Country Manager for India, you won't just be managing operations, you'll be building a franchise. This is your chance to lead from the front, own P&L, shape strategy, and create something significant in one of the world's most dynamic markets.

What You'll Do
Lead & Build
  • Take full ownership of our India operations: strategy, execution, growth, and profitability
  • Build and lead a high-performing team that reflects our culture of excellence and hunger
  • Drive business development and client acquisition across mid-market and growth-stage companies
  • Develop deep relationships with investors, corporates, family offices, and PE/VC funds
Execute & Deliver
  • Originate and close transactions in capital raising (debt/equity), M&A, and fund placement
  • Leverage our global network of 1200+ investors and strategic partners to unlock opportunities for Indian clients
  • Manage complex, cross-border deals that require sophistication and tenacity
  • Represent Agilis Advisors as the face of the firm in India
Think & Grow
  • Identify white spaces and emerging opportunities in the Indian investment banking landscape
  • Collaborate with our international partners in Berlin, Dubai, Mauritius, and Johannesburg
  • Contribute to firm-wide strategy and thought leadership
  • Build the playbook for scaling operations in high-growth markets
Who You Are
The Essentials
  • 8-12 years of experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, capital raising, or private equity
  • Proven track record of originating and closing transactions (ideally $10M+)
  • Deep understanding of Indian capital markets, corporate finance, and investor ecosystem
  • Strong existing network within the investment community (investors, corporates, intermediaries)
  • MBA or equivalent from a premier institution; CA/CFA is a plus
