For our office in Luxembourg, we are currently looking for a Fund Services Accounting Officer to join our Real Estate team.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES :

You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients and will work as part of a team to achieve and meet their needs.

Specific responsibilities include the following :

• Taking care of the day-to-day operations of the private funds and following up with third parties, coordinating with Depositary and AIFMs, including investors and clients;
• Maintaining the funds' books and preparing periodic valuations (Net Asset Value), year-end financial statements, CSSF / BCL reporting, and other fund-related reports;
• Assisting in the coordination of year-end audits;
• Assisting in organizing board meetings and shareholders’ meetings;
• Preparing periodic tax and VAT returns and maintaining contact with Luxembourg tax authorities and tax advisers;
• Acting as a contact person between shareholders, investment managers, AIFMs, and custodian banks for issue resolution.

YOUR PROFILE :

• You hold a Bachelor and/or Master's degree in Accounting, Audit, or Economics;
• You have 0-2 years of relevant experience in alternative investment fund administration, audit firms, or domiciliation;
• You possess knowledge of the fund industry, valuation, and accounting;
• A basic knowledge of accounting for investment products, including fund-of-funds, single-manager funds, and private equity funds, is an asset;
• You have an understanding of securities encountered in the fund industry, including equities, bonds, CFDs, options, and futures, with the ability to account for these securities;
• You are fluent in English and German (knowledge of other EU languages is an asset);
• You demonstrate team spirit, the ability to build strong client relationships, and initiative to act proactively.
