The Role & What You Will Be Doing
  • Ensure accurate statutory accounting and tax reporting in collaboration with outsourced accounting services
  • Maintain and enhance internal financial controls in line with SOX and audit requirements
  • Act as a local expert for payroll, pensions, and benefits, liaising with HR and tax authorities
  • Prepare payroll forecasts and European headcount reports using workforce planning tools
  • Support internal and external audits, and implement process improvements based on findings
  • Analyze key balance sheet accounts and support capital expenditure reporting
  • Deliver insightful financial data to management and contribute to strategic decision-making
  • Participate in cross-functional finance projects and collaborate with global teams
About Your Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or degree as “Bilanzbuchhalter”
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting, in a multinational setting or in a finance consulting environment, preferably with one of the Big Four
  • Strong understanding of HGB, US-GAAP and financial reporting
  • Good skills in MS-Office, especially in Excel
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Fluent in German and English
