For our headquarter in Kleve we are searching for a Finance Director (m/f/d):

As Finance Director for SPECTRO you'll report directly to the Divsional Vice President/BU Controller. You’ll work closely with different internal partners to drive performance, ensure financial integrity, and support strategic growth. This is a high-impact role where your expertise will shape decisions and deliver results.

Your duties and responsibilities:
  • Manage the accounting team (6-7 employees)
  • Prepare and submit the monthly US GAAP financials in HFM system
  • Lead the entity's SOX quarterly requirements, such as account reconciliations and other key controls
  • Ensure conformity with US‑GAAP, local statutory requirements, Sarbanes‑Oxley and Corporate policies
  • Drive the organization to achieve short‑ and long‑term business objectives
  • Develop talent in the finance organization and ensure succession planning
  • Prepare annual budget and monthly operational expenses forecasts
  • Prepare ad hoc requests for Corporate
  • Ensures timely, accuracy and integrity of financial data
  • Responsible for annual statutory audit with external auditors
What we're looking for:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. MBA / CPA a plus.
  • Minimum ten years accounting or finance experience, including supervisory experience in a manufacturing or public accounting firm
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in German and English language
  • Experience with German HGB and US GAAP
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate cross functionally
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
