Job Description

We are looking for a Finance Controller, Technology to join the Tech Controlling team and help us manage multi-million dollar cloud costs globally. You will support tech, product, and finance teams with financial processes such as cost cross-charging and capitalization. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, expanding your skills across various projects.

• Be part of our Tech Controlling team in the Tech & Product department, creating financial transparency for all cloud tools and services used worldwide.
• Collaborate with global teams to foster a culture of cost accountability.
• Maintain and enhance processes for cost-splitting and chargebacks.
• Support procurement and manage global tech contracts by developing cost scenarios, forecasts, and models.
• Automate controlling tasks with our tech and finance teams to improve efficiency.
• Assist tech teams at headquarters with project capitalization.
• Prepare annual budgets, monthly/quarterly forecasts, and analyze deviations.
• Analyze related financial and non-financial KPIs and trends.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in IT cost controlling.
• Strong financial analysis skills and ability to build data models, turning data into insights.
• Experience with personnel costs is preferred.
• Ability to create ad hoc analyses, statistics, and deviation reports.
• Advanced Excel skills for modeling and analysis.
• Passionate about process and cost optimization, especially in cloud cost management.
• Pragmatic, proactive, and results-oriented.
• Excellent communication skills in English and willingness to learn continuously.
• Self-motivated in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communicator with both technical and business teams across hierarchical levels.
• Nice to have: knowledge of cloud pricing, billing, and reporting models.
