Field Representative Military (m/f/d)

Safran Helicopter Engines is seeking a Field Representative Military (m/f/d) for our new location in Norderstedt. As a Field Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our customers for operational support within the framework of contractual regulations and will bring your specific technical expertise into play efficiently and in a solution-oriented manner.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing technical support on site and supporting the customer to optimize maintenance quality
• Supporting the customer to ensure the continuous operation of their engines and components
• Ensuring that the number of equipment is correctly dimensioned to meet the requirements of the contract
• Identifying and advising the customer on the availability of resources required for maintenance: consumables, spare parts, tools, personnel qualification and training
• Supporting the customer in planning and implementing the maintenance plan to ensure compliance with regulations
• Ensuring and promoting the effectiveness of the communication interface between the customer and Safran Helicopter Engines Germany
• Contributing to product and service improvement as well as contract profitability

Your skills and qualifications should include:

• Completed vocational training with specialization in aviation, a military aviation school, or comparable training
• Proven experience of several years in the field of aviation maintenance of complex components such as engines/APU, including in-depth experience in the field of gas turbine maintenance or repair and/or as a technical support interface in the specific field of helicopters
• 6 months of relevant experience in the field of helicopter operations in the last 2 years prior to hiring
• Fluent German and English language skills
• Very good communication skills with excellent interpersonal and customer-oriented skills as well as the ability to analyze and summarize information
• Willingness to travel approximately 40%
