In order to manage current and future projects, Airbus Helicopters is looking for you to join the team in Donauwörth as soon as possible as our new
As a System Engineer, you are end‑to‑end responsible for the development and integration of radar systems at the helicopter level for civil and military helicopters (e.g., weather radars, SAR radars, tactical radars) as well as potentially other surveillance systems.
You will join a team of 60+ system engineers in our transnational "Situational Awareness and Mission Management" department in charge of the implementation of Situation Awareness systems on all Airbus Helicopters (e)VTOL platforms. These systems integrate a variety of technologies for the crew's perception of the external environment to support their understanding of terrain and obstacles, air traffic and weather situation. Typical systems include: obstacle warning systems, camera and electro‑optical systems, transponder systems, radar systems, advanced display means.
This role is also available with reduced weekly hours (min. 30 hrs/week) and an adapted scope of tasks.
At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on‑site test airfield.
