Description:
The Environmental Engineer conducts plan reviews and related work to ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and standards. The role supports the mission of the Indiana Department of Health to protect public health through the construction and operation of healthcare facilities and other structures requiring plan review and approval. Responsibilities include applying architectural and engineering standards, safety, sanitation, water supply, sewage disposal, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and state licensing requirements for facilities in Indiana that require State approval.

The resource will be responsible for providing prompt responses to the general public, consultants, contractors, and the regulated community.
