Engineer for Metal Forming Technology Processing Lines (f / m / d)

YOU ACT

You will be responsible for the technological development and design of strip processing lines (e.g., continuous galvanizing lines, pickling lines, etc.). Additional responsibilities include :

• Development, optimization and implementation of new technological processes in strip processing lines
• Support during commissioning of plants worldwide
• Conducting process analyses and identifying improvement potential
• Collaboration with internal departments (e.g., engineering, sales) and with customers
• Training of customer personnel in the operation of plants and processes
• Sales and project execution of strip processing lines
• Evaluation of processes with respect to functionality and economic efficiency (Total Cost of Ownership)

YOU KNOW

You have a Master’s degree or PhD in an engineering, natural science or mathematics discipline; other important aspects and skills include :

• Excellent knowledge of the theoretical fundamentals of mechanical engineering / forming technology / metallurgy and / or process engineering
• Strong analytical skills and technical understanding
• Good programming skills (preferably C / C++ / C# / Python, R)
• Good command of English
• Entrepreneurial mindset and business-oriented thinking
• Open-mindedness, assertiveness and commitment; ability to work in international and cross-functional teams
• Willingness to travel worldwide
