The Opportunity

This position works out of our Wiesbaden-Delkenheim Abbott GmbH location.

Primary objective of position

  • Subject matter expert for remote diagnostic data collection and log analysis tools for all Instruments types in ADD Corelab
  • Collecting, processing, and analyzing EMEA service-related data to generate actionable insights that support decision-making and improve operational efficiency
  • Implementation and maintenance of EMEA Service Operation Excellence (SVC OP EX) dashboards (Power BI, Smartsheet, etc.)
  • Training of technical support team on log analysis and troubleshooting

Major accountabilities

  • Responsible for second level support on instruments remote connectivity and data analytics
  • Collect, clean, and manipulate large datasets from various sources (reliability database, CMSNext, GSR, internal reports, etc.)
  • Develop dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs related to EMEA service operations
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in service data to support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Service, Quality and Supply Chain) to collect data and deliver insights
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems and reports
  • Present findings and recommendations to EMEA SVC OP team in a clear and actionable manner
  • Ensure all activities are performed in compliance with quality system requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent knowledge acquired through relevant professional experience

Background

Knowledge

  • Knowledge of field service operations and customer support processes
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights in a streamlined and simple way
  • Knowledge of machine learning, predictive analytics techniques and AI-based analytics
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Capability to visualize data results against real field cases and actions

Skills

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, SQL, Python)
  • Experience with data visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Smartsheet)
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
