Job Description for Art Curator-Assistant at ASN

ASN is a platform for sharing knowledge, ideas, and experience between scientific and artistic milieus:

Tasks

ASN is seeking an Art Curator-Assistant:

• With a PhD,
• With particularly strong and extensive IT skills,
• With experience in art and science.
• Researching, applying for funding, sponsorships, etc.
• Managing stakeholders.
• Managing project team and budget.
• Managing project schedule and deadlines.
• Managing project conflicts and risks.

Requirements

Profile sought:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (native English speakers are an advantage).
• Strong, extensive IT skills (WordPress, web and graphic design, etc.).
• Curatorial education or studies with at least one year of experience.
• Training in management with proven experience (at least two years in art/science synergy).
• Strong knowledge and experience in fund-raising for cultural projects.
• Excellent project management, organizational, and time management skills.
• Good teamwork skills, especially with artists and scientists.
• Strong commitment and motivation.

We are expecting:

• Recognized curatorial studies with BA and/or MA (or equivalent).
• Proven results in fund-raising and sponsorship.
• IT, PR, and communication skills.
• At least two years of recognized experience.
• Extensive experience in Art & Science is a strong advantage.
• Excellent English and German (native English speakers are an advantage).
• Polish and/or French language skills are appreciated.
• Deep commitment to ASN's ambitions and objectives.
• Strong motivation to connect the worlds of art and science.
