A nonprofit organization supporting women in construction is seeking a PO Clerk to manage purchase orders and accounts payable tasks. The ideal candidate will have an associate's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting and experience in accounts payable. You will communicate with various stakeholders and ensure accuracy in invoicing and inventory. What you'll do
  • Communicate with Corporate Staff, Field Offices, and Vendors for purchase of goods and services
  • Issue purchase orders
  • Review receipt information for accuracy in quantities and pricing
  • Communicate with Inventory vendors to maintain updated pricing schedules
  • Process receipt for purchase orders
  • Monitor open PO report to ensure items receipted in a timely manner
  • Reconcile items received to original requests, research any variances
  • Special projects as assigned
What you'll need
  • You will be at least 18 years old
  • You are authorized to work in the United States for this company
  • You have an associate's degree in Business, Finance or Accounting required OR
  • You have one to three year's accounts payable experience and/or training
  • You have working knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Access
  • Previous Solomon experience preferred
  • You have the ability to plan, prioritize and organize effectively.
  • You have the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all staff.
  • You have the ability to organize, multi-task, prioritize and re-prioritize daily workload.
  • You have the ability to meet deadlines, establish deadlines, and to prioritize deadlines.
  • You have general computer knowledge; and requires knowledge in Microsoft Office/Google applications.

The wage range for Coordinator Accounts Payable is $15.00 - $17.00.
