Job Title: Contracts Manager Data Center Project
Location: Frankfurt, Germany
Position Overview
The Contracts Manager will be responsible for managing, negotiating, and administering all contracts associated with the Frankfurt data center project. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep knowledge of construction contracts, risk management, and compliance within international infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that all contractual obligations are met, mitigate risks, and facilitate smooth collaboration between stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
- Ensure contracts comply with legal requirements, company policies, and project objectives.
- Monitor contract performance and enforce compliance with terms and conditions.
- Provide guidance on contractual risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Manage claims, disputes, and change orders efficiently to minimize project impact.
- Maintain detailed records of all contractual documentation and correspondence.
- Collaborate closely with project management, finance, legal, and procurement teams.
- Support senior management in strategic contract decisions and risk assessments.
- Ensure that project delivery aligns with contractual obligations, budgets, and timelines.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Law, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 57 years experience in contracts management, preferably in construction or large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of international and German construction contract standards (e.g., FIDIC, VOB/B).
- Proven experience in negotiation, claims management, and dispute resolution.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Fluency in English; German language proficiency preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multinational environment and manage multiple stakeholders.
