Job Summary:
Directive Consulting is a leading B2B performance marketing agency focused on driving revenue through innovative marketing strategies. The Content Strategist manages client relationships, develops custom strategies, and ensures successful marketing campaign execution.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement custom strategies to achieve client NSMs.
- Use project phases, client marketing goals, ongoing campaigns, and historical data to optimize strategies, collaborating with the Associate Director (AsD).
- Work closely with the AsD to address roadblocks impacting strategy and goal attainment.
- Craft creative briefs and content campaigns based on competitor and audience insights.
- Apply best practices to ensure strategies help clients exceed their goals.
- Use data from Google Analytics, CRM, SEMRush, and Ahrefs to set and review goals, with approval from the AsD.
- Ensure strategy execution and progress tracking using the Asana project management tool.
- Delegate tasks to team members, clients, and ensure timely completion.
- Partner with Project Managers when available to meet deadlines and responsibilities.
- Collaborate with content writers and designers to deliver quality content campaigns on time.
- Build strong, human relationships with clients beyond just deliverables.
- Proactively communicate with clients and internal leadership about timelines, progress, roadblocks, and opportunities.
- Report strategy progress and impact through bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and bi-annual reviews.
Qualifications:
- Proven success in SEO and content strategy, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building.
- Ability to analyze website traffic and SEO metrics using tools like Google Analytics.
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable with client-facing roles and stakeholder management.
- Familiarity with industry tools such as Google Search Console, SEMRush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog.
- Strong organizational, project, and time management skills.
- Genuine enthusiasm for digital marketing, SEO, and content.
- Agency experience required.
- Experience with B2B tech and/or SaaS preferred.
