This marks an exciting chapter in our growth as we support major critical raw materials projects. Our team is at the forefront of delivering innovative, sustainable engineering solutions that drive the energy transition across Europe.

To support this growth, we’re looking for an experienced EPCM Construction Manager to join our team in Frankfurt, Germany.

In this exciting role, the successful candidate will lead and oversee all aspects of on-site construction activities for the EPCM Contractor, ensuring the safe, timely, quality-driven, and budget-compliant execution of the Project. This role will act as the liaison between the EPCM Contractor and the Client, facilitating construction-phase workflows, completions, and transitions to commissioning.

As the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining a detailed construction plan covering methods, schedules, materials, and risk assessments.
  • Conducting constructability reviews, including 3D and 4D model sessions.
  • Managing construction zones and oversee efficient site facilities coordination.
  • Onboarding and allocating local subcontractors, ensuring alignment with site logistics.
  • Building and leading a multidisciplinary construction team in collaboration with EPCM and Client team members.
  • Ensuring seamless integration between construction and commissioning phases.
  • Represent construction updates and resolve issues in Client-EPCM meetings.
  • Supervise daily site activities, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
  • Maintain compliance with HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, Environmental) regulations.
  • Address design changes and resolve construction-related issues efficiently.
  • Track and report project progress against the schedule.
  • Approve completion and pre-commissioning milestones alongside commissioning teams.
  • Submit system/area completions for certification and handover to commissioning.

You are an experienced Construction Manager with the following qualifications and background:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years in construction/project management leadership roles within EPCM
    environments.
  • Proven expertise in large-scale chemicals, oil & gas or industrial projects.
  • Experience with modular construction techniques and complex sequencing.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of HSSE regulations specific to project regions. Advantageous
    certifications in construction safety / management (e.g., SiGeKo under German
    construction law).
  • Fluency in German is required and working proficiency in English.
