Your role in our team:

• Take full responsibility within the Electronics commodity for a defined sub-cluster throughout the entire product lifecycle (project phase, serial production, and after-sales)
• Manage all strategic purchasing activities in line with the global Electronics strategy and in close collaboration with internal stakeholders across CLAAS
• Work in daily cross‑functional cooperation with engineering, quality, logistics, and project teams
• Independently prepare and conduct purchasing negotiations, including the conclusion of contracts and framework supply agreements
• Support the achievement of Cost, Quality and Delivery (C‑Q‑D) targets in development projects through the early involvement of high‑performing suppliers
• Monitor, evaluate and actively steer supplier performance
• Continuously observe and analyze market developments to identify risks and opportunities.

Your profile:

• Successfully completed a degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing, including solid knowledge of contract law
• Strong project management skills and high technical affinity, particularly in the electronics domain
• Extensive negotiation experience and confident in discussions
• Strong entrepreneurial and analytical thinking, combined with an independent, flexible, and structured way of working
• Confident communication at internal and external management levels
• Experience working in interdisciplinary and intercultural environments
• Strong communicator and team player with business-fluent English; French skills are an advantage
• Proficient in MS Office and SAP
• Willingness to travel as required.
