Overview

We are seeking an experienced, driven, and client-focused Client Director to lead and inspire media initiatives for a major automotive client across European markets. In this senior role, you will be the trusted advisor to the client, responsible for building a long-term partnership, driving innovation, and ensuring excellence in execution across every market. You will serve as the senior point of contact, aligning the client’s ambitions with our expertise, delivering seamless coordination across regions, and creating measurable impact for their business. This is a rare opportunity to join at an early stage of a new client team and play a central role in shaping the future of our partnership. You will help define best practices, introduce new standards, and establish the foundation for sustainable regional growth and long-term success.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the key point of contact across multiple European markets, ensuring delivery of consistent, high-quality work aligned with client objectives.
  • Develop and oversee integrated media strategies that deliver measurable business results and support the client’s broader goals.
  • Collaborate with internal specialists—across strategy, planning, data, media buying, and analytics—to deliver innovative, market-leading campaigns.
  • Lead strategic planning sessions, business reviews, and performance reporting with senior client stakeholders.
  • Lead the change management initiatives to drive the adoption of new processes and ways of working, both within the internal team and on the client side.
  • Identify opportunities for growth within the existing partnership, including new initiatives, expanded market activations, and innovation pilots.
  • Balance cultural and market-specific requirements with the need for global consistency, ensuring relevance at both the local and regional level.
  • Serve as a trusted partner, continuously strengthening senior-level relationships within the client organization.
What You’ll Bring
  • 7+ years of experience in media, advertising, or communications, with proven expertise in leading complex client relationships.
  • Strong track record in managing multi-market campaigns and guiding cross-functional teams, ideally within the automotive or related industries.
  • Deep understanding of both offline and digital media, audience insights, and performance measurement.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and inspire confidence.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple large-scale initiatives and deliver results on time and within budget.
  • Experience managing budgets and project-level P&Ls.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional European languages are highly valued.
  • Willingness to travel across Europe as needed to maintain close alignment with local teams and the client.
