  • Execute batch polycondensation processes to synthesise aevoloop’s proprietary polyester-based polymers on a kg scale.
  • Set up, clean and perform changeovers of polycondensation reactors and auxiliary equipment (strand granulation, thermostats and vacuum pumps) as well as preventive maintenance.
  • Capture all process data, draft SOPs, and share know-how with engineering and manufacturing partners.
  • Record, structure and analyse polymerisation data, translating findings into actionable optimisation proposals.
  • Enforce strict safety, quality, and environmental standards (including ATEX and GLP/GMP where applicable).
Your profile
  • Completed chemical technical apprenticeship (Chemical Technical Assistant, Chemical Technician) or B. Sc. or B. Eng. in chemistry, chemical engineering, polymer engineering, polymer chemistry or a related field. Additional training in process or plastics engineering would be advantageous.
  • A solid foundation in organic polymer chemistry and hands‑on experience with polycondensation.
  • Familiarity with high-temperature /high-pressure reactors, vacuum systems, and related safety regulations.
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting skills and a passion for experimental process optimisation.
  • You’re fluent in English – German is a plus.
  • You bring a hands‑on mindset, structure your work efficiently, and collaborate seamlessly across disciplines – even under the dynamics of a fast‑paced start‑up environment.

About Us

We are aevoloop: A fast‑scaling deep‑tech startup pioneering Next-Gen-Plastics. Contrary to common belief, plastics remain indispensable where no alternative exists, from critical medical devices to protective gear. That’s why we re‑engineer polymers from the ground up, merging the advantages of classic plastics – high‑performance and versatile – with a new era of sustainability: turning plastic waste into new materials that are fully circular and biodegradable.

Our mission is clear: Plastics are vital for a liveable future, so we develop next‑generation materials that enable a truly circular economy. As we achieve new milestones and drive innovation, we continuously expand our team and expertise — giving you the chance to grow your career alongside our impact.
