Jobbeschreibung

This Individual Contributor role can be based anywhere in Germany and is crucial in managing and expanding our strategic partnerships in Germany a key market pivotal to our revenue growth in the upcoming year. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in nurturing executive-level partner relationships and demonstrating exceptional business planning skills. You will have made significant contributions to growth within the channel community in Germany particularly in the EX / CX space and have a history of delivering impactful results. Responsibilities
  • Prospect and recruit new channel partners (Resellers, Sales consultants, GSIs, distributors) aligned with Freshworks target markets.
  • Lead the onboarding process for new partners ensuring they are trained and equipped with Freshworks product knowledge, sales tools and go‑to‑market strategies.
  • Collaborate with partners on lead generation pipeline development and deal closures.
  • Drive revenue from partners by setting joint sales targets, creating business plans and supporting go‑to‑market activities.
  • Strategically manage and expand major channel partnerships in Germany driving substantial revenue growth.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for partner engagement focusing on high‑value opportunities in the EX / CX space.
  • Mentor and inspire a team fostering a culture of innovation and excellence in partnership management.
  • Collaborate with regional business heads and cross‑functional teams to align partnership strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Establish and maintain strong executive relationships with key partners ensuring mutual growth and success.
  • Key understanding of the distribution landscape in Germany with previous experience working in a tier 2 model.
  • Drive partner program enhancements including incentive models, enablement strategies and performance metrics to maximize partner engagement and revenue generation.
  • Regularly review and adjust strategies to respond to market changes and partner feedback ensuring alignment with company goals and partner needs.
Qualifications
  • 7 years experience in SaaS or channel sales with a focus on strategic partnership management across Germany.
  • Broad expertise in developing and managing alliances with a focus on onboarding and recruiting new partners.
  • Strong experience in building partner strategies across software and services. A SaaS background is a plus.
  • Ability to influence across organisational boundaries.
  • A collaborative spirit that focuses on winning as a team rather than as an individual.
  • Solution sales background / experience: alliances pre‑sales or business development background would be highly preferred.
  • Ability to travel more than 50% of the time.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C‑level executives.
  • Strong presentation and written skills coupled with the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross‑functional audiences.
  • Experience working within the cloud category is highly desired.
  • Proven experience driving revenue through partners with structured programs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organisations.
  • Native level fluency in German and fluency in English.
