We are seeking for a mechanical engineer with strong background in the design of opto‑mechanics, laser systems, and/or vacuum systems. One of the main tasks will be the development of novel mechanical hardware for our high‑performance laser systems and the future plasma injector, including scientific optical setups, laser packaging and the design of vacuum systems for our laser‑plasma electron sources. In addition, the candidate has to coordinate manufacturing with internal and external workshops and has to represent his designs for the project in meetings with our partners.
