Overview

Business Development Manager (Solar)

You will need to be based in or commutable to Hannover. This will include frequent travel across Germany and office based work in Hannover.

€70,000 - €85,000 + €20,000 to €30,000 Annual Bonus + Company Vehicle + Company Benefits + Progression to Senior Management.

Are you a Business Development Manager or strong Salesperson with large scale Solar industry experience looking for a unique opportunity to help kick start the growth across Germany for an already international renowned company? On offer is an exciting role where you will have the opportunity to help drive the business forward in the growth of their presence in Germany with a rewarding annual bonus scheme. They will also progress the right candidates into Senior Management roles within the business. This organisation are industry leaders within solar and they are growing year on year. This is an exciting time for the company as they are expanding into new countries and territories and have a highly experienced team to take them to the next level.

This role would suit someone with a strong background in sales with expertise in large scale solar systems.

The Role
  • Identify and secure land for solar parks, including scouting, owner negotiations, and contract finalisation
  • Engage local authorities and submit permit applications to support project development
  • Promote environmentally inclusive solar park development as a leading concept in Germany
  • Your time will be split between visiting prospective clients across the country and working in the office in Hannover
The Person
  • Must have strong BDM / Sales experience and Solar industry knowledge
  • Background in agriculture and renewable energy, ideally with connections in local government and an understanding of government procedures for obtaining permits
  • Must be able to speak German and English
  • Looking for a unique opportunity to play a key role within an already impressive business
