This software platform enables Charge Point Operators (CPOs) and e-Mobility Service Providers (eMSPs) to successfully launch their respective businesses. The role

Specifically, we are looking for support in developing our DACH market. As a Business Development Manager DACH, you will be prospecting, qualifying, developing, and closing target accounts. You will identify market opportunities, frequently meet with prospects and clients to understand their needs and challenges, liaise with the GreenFlux team to define and craft winning EV charging solutions and services, and play an active role in the bidding and contracting process. In this consultative selling role, you will build new relationships at C-level with DACH corporate clients and other prospects as well as manage and deepen existing relationships.

You will apply foresight and innovation in how our products and services evolve over time, based on the changing needs of our clients and the market.

Main responsibilities
  • Source, qualify, nurture, develop, close, and contract new business opportunities.
  • Generate proposals based on target client criteria or respond to tenders of target clients.
  • Excel in defining solutions based on the GreenFlux charging platform in line with client budgets and purchase requirements.
  • Maintain an overview of long‑term client needs and market developments.
  • Build and maintain GreenFlux thought leadership by participating in relevant events and conferences and providing presentations.
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding of new clients by working closely with the GreenFlux operations team.

We’re looking for an experienced Business Development Manager for the DACH territory who is well‑recognized within the energy market and preferably knows software, with a strong affinity or experience with SaaS solutions. You are being regarded as a “thought leader” in your market and you can quickly develop and maintain strong and effective relationships with your clients. You have very strong analytical skills, you can promptly identify client challenges and needs, and, based on your analysis, you can successfully advise and provide a solution based on the GreenFlux cloud‑based charging platform.

You have a strong drive and you can execute sales strategies and close deals independently. You are an entrepreneurial team player, with strong self‑starting skills and you function well in a small but fast‑growing company.

You have
  • A Bachelor‑ or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • At least 5 years of sales experience in the energy market and/or IT/software market (ideally SaaS).
  • Preferred experience, or strong affinity with the EV market.
  • A strong professional network in the energy sector in the DACH region.
  • Proven strong negotiation and closing skills as well as good financial and business acumen.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain good relationships with (prospective) clients.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent presentation skills.
  • German native speaker is preferred, comfortable with working from a home office; traveling to customers or prospects as needed as well as visiting the Greenflux offices in Amsterdam from time‑to‑time.
  • A professional fluency in English and German, both written and verbal.
