About the role

As a Business Developer – Industrial Printing Solutions, you and your international colleagues will be responsible for the sales success of direct - to - object (rotary) printers in the industrial market. Whether you are an experienced professional with a strong network, or a young, ambitious go-getter with a strong self-starter attitude, this is your opportunity to fulfil a role that will make an impact. This position can be based in one of European Roland DG’s offices within Europe.

Your responsibilities
  • Actively identifying, approaching and convincing new customers in the packaging industry and related sectors.
  • Developing sales strategies to ensure success.
  • Collaborating intensively with marketing for planning and execution of account- based campaigns.
  • Driving the (direct) sales process from A to Z.
  • Achieving sales targets.
  • Preparing and presenting compelling proposals, including hardware, consumables, and service.
  • Carefully managing customer relationships and contact moments in our CRM system.
  • Close collaboration with the international team to share insights and discuss sales approaches.
What we ask of you
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in field sales or sales management, preferably in the beverage, packaging or digital printing sector.
  • Proven track record in the sale of capital goods.
  • A good knowledge of the target markets and their production processes.
  • An entrepreneurial and results-oriented pioneering mentality, with sufficient adaptability and receptiveness to new ideas as well as the willingness and ability to adapt to changing demands and circumstances.
  • Strong communication, commercial and organizational skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office and CRM systems.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75%, including intercontinental travel.
  • Valid driver's license.
