A growing international organization is seeking an experienced Business Developer to lead growth in the DACH region. You will own the business development process, convert opportunities into client relationships, and collaborate with marketing teams. The ideal candidate has over 5 years in B2B sales, strong communication skills, and fluency in German and English. This role also involves participating in trade fairs and conferences, with travel across the DACH region.

Qualifikationen

Do you aspire to be part of an international organization on the rise? Cleopatra Enterprise is looking for an experienced and driven Business Developer to lead our growth in the DACH region.

In this diverse role, you will be at the forefront of expanding our presence by introducing new clients to Cleopatra, the total project & turnaround management platform trusted by industry leaders worldwide.

Cleopatra supports complex industrial projects from start to finish by combining cost estimating, planning, benchmarking, and progress tracking in a single integrated solution. Companies like Ineos, Covestro, Wacker, and Aker Subsea already rely on our platform to drive performance and control.

You will take full ownership of the business development process. From identifying and engaging prospects to delivering tailored demos and leading high-level conversations, you’ll be responsible for converting opportunities into strong client relationships. Together with our Inside Sales and Marketing teams, you will shape and manage your pipeline while positioning Cleopatra at the forefront of the industry.

Participation in trade fairs and conferences across the DACH region will be a key part of the role, helping you to connect directly with decision-makers and position Cleopatra where it matters most. Although based in Germany, you will work closely with a diverse and international sales team committed to growth and innovation.

What you bring

  • A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree
  • 5+ years of experience in business development or complex B2B sales
  • A strong affinity with technical environments such as EPC, industrial software, or project consultancy
  • Experience with long sales cycles, tenders, and contract negotiations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Fluency in both German and English
  • Living in Germany and willing to travel across the DACH region
