Overview
Your tasks:
- Manage, optimize, and extend our nanopore sequencing workflows for intra-operative diagnostic use.
- Develop novel computational approaches at the forefront of long-read sequencing technologies.
- Ensure the seamless integration of real-time sequencing analyses into patient care and intra-operative decision-making.
- Prepare scientific publications and present our advances at international conferences.
Profile
- A degree in computational biology, bioinformatics, or a related field. Applications on various entry levels are welcome. This can also be a great postdoctoral opportunity.
- Experience with genomics analysis pipelines, ideally including familiarity with long-read sequencing data from Oxford Nanopore Technologies (ONT).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured and results-oriented mindset.
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to thrive in an interdisciplinary environment.
- Awareness of the clinical relevance of the work.
