About The Role

As part of the expansion of our Business Intelligence activities, we are looking for a BI developer. The mission is to maintain and evolve existing reports and to create new ones. The person will also work on the automation of recurring tasks and reports. The BI developer will also be responsible to automate reports, analyse data issues, recommend data correction measures, and implement forecasting models into reports.

Main Activities
  • Design of BI solutions and visualisations.
  • Development of reports on tools such as Power BI.
  • Development of SQL queries and ETL solutions as necessary to obtain the necessary data.
  • Extraction and analysis of data.
  • Maintenance of the solution and user support.
  • Feeding databases and data warehouses.
  • Capture user needs and propose solutions.
  • Contribute to the organisation and animation of the community of developers of the solution.
  • Provide technical support and maintenance of existing reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging BI technologies and advancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, test cases, and training materials.
  • Creating and documenting test procedures and scenarios for pre‑UAT phases.
  • Support UATs execution and solution deployment in multiple environments.
  • Contribute to the development of Business Intelligence best practices and standards within the organisation.
  • Setup of the environment necessary for the reports to work properly.
  • Work with structured project plans, communicate any identified project risks and issues to the manager accordingly and provide inputs to the change control process.
About You
Profile

You recognise yourself in the following profile:

  • At least 2 years professional experience in a similar position.
  • Knowledge of a visualisation tool such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
  • Solid understanding of relational databases and experience working with at least one RDMS (SQL Server, Oracle Database, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or Web Services/APIs (such as REST or SOAP).
  • Experience in automating reports.
  • Knowledge and exposure to IT Infrastructure, Network technologies (TCP/IP etc.) and access management within enterprises.
  • Experience in software development using one or more languages (Python, C#, Java, JavaScript etc.) would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of ETL, ELT, noSQL, UI path and Power automate would be a plus.
