Associate Transformation PMO (f/m/d)

The Transformation Project Management Officer, based in Bergheim (Salzburg), will support the delivery of high-impact strategic initiatives aligned with PALFINGER Group Strategy, focusing initially on the “APAC Strategy” and “Supply Chain Optimization” programs. Working closely with Transformation Program Managers and cross-functional teams, the role ensures robust planning, effective governance, timely reporting, and the adoption of best practices to maintain quality, pace, and alignment across multi-functional and regional programs.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide structured support for strategic programs and projects, focusing on OKR management, sprint planning and portfolio analytics to drive performance, identify challenges, corrective actions and improvement plans
  • Ensure quality in program planning, management and tracking across workstreams in SmartSheet while monitoring and improving milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Manage, Co-ordinate and enhance governance for the programs. Prepare reports for relevant forums (Performance reviews, Delivery Boards, Executive updates etc) and support ad hoc reporting and visibility
  • Assist in budget tracking, spend monitoring and preparation of financial reporting and business cases and support development of process to monitor and track financial and non-financial program performance
  • Support workstream leads with tool management while driving performance improvements and promoting best practices aligned with group standards
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in a commercial or technical discipline with 5+ years in program/project management (incl. 3+ years in PMO)
  • Strong knowledge of governance, milestone and risk management, and experience with Agile, Waterfall, and Lean frameworks
  • 2+ years’ experience with project management tools like SmartSheet, including adoption support and coaching
  • Proven stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and international/matrix organization experience
  • Fluent in German and English, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Minimum yearly gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 52.197,04 based on full-time employment. Please note that, due to legal requirements in Austria, we are obligated to state the minimum salary according to the collective agreement. According to experience and qualification, the actual salary for this position is significantly higher.
