AIT Main Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Planning, preparation, and execution of all mechanical tasks, ensuring compliance with quality, timeline, and cost targets
• Establishing the necessary conditions for a seamless integration process, including the availability of tools, procedures, and resources
• Planning and control of work processes and material flow in the integration hall
• Leading and coordinating a dedicated mechanical assembly team
• Organizing shift work and allocating resources effectively
• Driving continuous improvement of integration workflows and providing feedback to the relevant engineering departments
• You report directly to the AIT manager

Your Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or a comparable technical qualification
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in production and assembly, ideally within the aerospace sector
• Understanding of project management principles
• Familiarity with mechanical design and experience using CAD systems
• Basic knowledge of work preparation tools such as SAP and PDM/PLM systems
• Initial experience in technical team leadership
• Good knowledge of applicable aerospace standards and guidelines
• Strong organizational skills and structured working style
• Analytical thinking and a high sense of responsibility
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken
