Overview

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of accounting operations in DATEV, including bookkeeping, payables, receivables, reconciliations, and monthly / annual closings.
• Lead projects to design and implement scalable processes and tools that strengthen our financial infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with German accounting, tax, and reporting standards.
• Collaborate closely with Finance and Operations teams to integrate accounting with business operations.
• Support auditors, tax advisors, and external stakeholders with accurate and timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification.
• Proficiency in DATEV is a must, with hands-on experience in managing accounting workflows.
• Strong understanding of German GAAP (HGB) and tax regulations.
• Fluent in German and English (both required).
• Detail-oriented, structured, and reliable with a proactive mindset.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment or startup is a plus.
