Job summary
A growing international software company is hiring a Python Software Engineer to join their Certification team. The role involves developing and maintaining test automation tools for hardware certification with Ubuntu. The ideal candidate will have experience in Python programming, an interest in test automation, and the ability to work in a distributed team. This position offers meaningful opportunities to impact Linux adoption across various devices and industries, along with a collaborative and dynamic working environment.
Qualifications
- Experience developing in Python for test automation tools.
- Previous experience working with Ubuntu or other Linux distributions.
- Interest in hardware testing and IoT.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop Python-based test automation tools.
- Invent new ways to enable remote, automated testing.
- Write functional and performance tests.
- Participate in international meetings a few times a year.
