Job summary
A recruitment agency is looking for energetic Fabricators to join a production team in Chilliwack. The role includes reading blueprints, operating various machinery, and ensuring quality standards. Ideal candidates will have a high school education and some experience in metal fabrication, but training is provided for the right individuals. Qualifications
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
- Dexterity and familiarity with power tools.

- Basic math skills.
- 1 – 2 years’ experience in metal fabrication, welding, or a related field.
- Welding aluminum, steel MIG/TIG is an asset.
- Level C ticket or forklift certification is an asset.

Our client located in Chilliwack, provides service to marine and industrial clients from around the globe.
Our client is looking for a few energetic Fabricators to join the team in production.
The Fabricator is responsible for reading and analyzing blueprints and engineering drawings to correspond with the required metal cuts. You will use a variety of light and heavy machinery to make the necessary cuts and to assemble the fabricated components into complete units. This is an entry level position and will train the right candidate.
- Read and analyze blueprints and engineering drawings to determine materials needed and plan the sequence of fabrication tasks.
- Operate a variety of light machinery, including grinders, sanders, cordless drills and a range of saws and routers.
- Use machinery to make necessary cuts and assemble fabricated components into complete units for final product assembly.
- Install fabricated components in the final product.
- Monitor the quality of fabrication to ensure standards are met.
- Adhere to all safety standards and standard operating procedures.
