Job description

As a leader in the Smart Home industry, we boast one of the largest IoT install bases, with innovative products including cameras, locks, card readers, garage door openers, gates, and more, all powered by our myQ digital ecosystem.

This role is within Chamberlain Group’s Sales function. A successful candidate is expected to:

  1. Develop approaches for merchandising, assortment, and promotional planning; manage emerging category expansion for Internet of Things products, cameras, locks, and video camera integrated garage door openers.
  2. Analyze and support the utilization of Point of Sale data for forecasting, P&L management, and customer recommendations.
  3. Manage customer e-commerce sales, including item setup, marketing programs, and digital metric reporting.
  4. Analyze account opportunities and performance; discover and address customer needs; generate and develop new business opportunities.
  5. Manage end-to-end sales activities, including conducting sales presentations and managing customer installation programs.
  6. Develop strategic relationships with key internal and external decision makers.
  7. Create solution-based sales strategies using research and market insights.
  8. Forecast demand and budget to support joint business planning with customers, and identify logistical synergies.
  9. Conduct competitive research and develop counter-strategies.
  10. Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines and maintain confidentiality of company information.
  11. Maintain professional knowledge through workshops, publications, networking, and participation in professional societies.
  12. Contribute to team efforts by participating in projects and achieving related results.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree; MBA preferred
  • 5-8 years of retail account management experience
  • Knowledge of IoT space, connected products, cameras, and locks
  • Ability to travel up to 30% domestically; valid driver’s license
  • Preferred: Experience with large volume accounts, industry competitors, fluency in Spanish or French-Canadian, and financial analysis skills.

This position offers a salary range of $99,400.00 - $155,350.00 CAD, with additional benefits including a comprehensive package and 401k contributions. Eligibility for a short-term incentive plan is also provided.
